                                                    Leadership day!

Leadership day was so much fun! Leadership day is a day when the teachers at Belfast and the prefects at Belfast get to see what the year 7 are made of, or to see if we would make great leaders. We were put into groups with all kinds of people and were given task to solve. We had things like zip line, rope, working together as a group and working out problems. I loved the zip line because we got to see how many people we could fit on it. We did fail some times , but we would always pick our selves up and keep on going. Near the end of the day we had to write why we think we would make a great leader for next year!

Chinese language week.

                         This week is Chinese language week and in class we have been writing our                                                     names in Chinese. This is my name( Georgia Barratt ) in Chinese.

Me and Georgia S have thought of some cupcake flavours and we have thought of three good ones. we have Watermelon, Rainbow vanilla with a supries inside, and strawberry lemonade. We are exited to show you them.

This week for Genius hour we have been working hard on trying to get our work done. Me and Georgia S have the idea of next time we have Genius hour we are going to bake cupcakes and and see who's is best.

Book week

                                            Book week

This week was book week in Belfast school. Book week is when each class picks a type of book to learn or do some art and make there class rooms full of all kinds of art around the book they chose. My class in room 23 chose Roald Dahl! Everyone did some kind of art on his books. Me and my friend did James and the giant peach and the great willy wonka. We did some painting and coloring and displayed them on our class windows.

On Tuesday we had book dress up day. Everyone in the school would dress up as a book character and we would all gather up and have a parade. Me and my friend came as thing 1 and 2. On Monday Tuesday and Wednesday we had a secret teacher from another class come and read to us. There was a price for the beast decorated class and my class won!
